
The new Shop section on Facebook Business Pages make it easy for desktop and mobile users to browse your products and seamlessly checkout right from your Facebook Business Page. It also includes a new subscribe button, that notifies you customers when you add new products.
For desktop users, the Shop section appears to the left of your timeline. Mobile users will see it as they scroll down your page. Here's how it looks on MVMT's page:
The Shop section for Facebook is a great way to connect with billions of users, sell more and grow your business. And today we’re going to help you set it up.
How to set up the Shop section on your Facebook business page
- If you already have a Shopify store, click here to login. If not, click here to sign up.
- Click the “Add channel” button on the popup that appears below:
- Click the “Get started” button at the bottom of the next page:
- If you haven’t yet connected your Shopify and Facebook accounts, click the “Connect business page” button and advance through the authorization pop-ups:
Now that you’ve successfully added the Shop section to your Facebook page, you’ll need to decide which of your product collections to sell. You can choose from any of your existing collections or create a new one from scratch to feature your best-sellers, sale items, or newest additions.
When creating a new collection, don’t forget to make it visible to your Shop section by ticking the checkbox highlighted below:
How do Facebook users checkout?
You can let customers purchase using your store's branded checkout, or if you're a merchant in the US using Shopify Payments, your customers can check out directly on Facebook.
That's all there is to it!
Your new Shop section should appear on your Facebook timeline, in a tab below your cover photo, and on mobile devices. You can re-order your collections at any time from your preferences page.
